Fun family session recently! It was fun for me to watch the loving, nurturing relationship between the oldest two and their not-so-baby brother. I really love the photographs from this session, and the genuine family closeness that shows through. I hope our kids get along this well at these ages!

Ellie

Orono Senior Pictures

This was a fun senior session! Most importantly because it was a joy for Elizabeth and I to do a session with such a great friend of our family. We were also blessed with beautiful light and some gorgeous locations. It’s days like this that make it all worth it! Thanks Dave, Lindsay, and Ellie for the opportunity to create these photographs for you. I hope you will treasure them for years to come. May God bless you as you prepare for the next chapter in your life.

Together At Last!

bride groom walking on tree lined walk

A few weeks ago I had the honor of photographing a wedding in Aberdeen, South Dakota for good friends. I’ve know Kristin and her whole family for more than a dozen years, and to watch her join hands with a wonderful man was a joy for me. This was a long distance romance, and after the ceremony they scheduled a block of time for photographs of the two of them together at last! Here are a few of my favorites!

Phillip and Martin

boys on a fallen log

I had an opportunity to photograph Phillip again recently – this time along with brother Martin. In case you didn’t notice, Phillip and his parents are walking the beach in Duluth on one of our masthead images!

We had a great session. Mom was concerned that Martin would be shy. The image below of the two boys sitting on the stair was one of the first images of the day. Does he look shy to you? He’s the picture of relaxation with his elbow propped up on the stair!

Great time. I had a blast!
